The Saunders-Monticello Trail winds up the side of Carter’s Mountain. Owned by the Thomas Jefferson Foundation, the trail’s design was inspired by Jefferson’s own desire to display the stunning views from Monticello. The trail offers a beautiful and peaceful retreat for hikers, bikers, and runners.
Trump Winery follows in the footsteps of Thomas Jefferson, making wines inspired by the French wine regions of Bordeaux and Champagne. The Winery is located between Jefferson’s Monticello and Monroe’s Ashlawn-Highland. Visitors will surely enjoy Trump’s countryside tasting room in this historic region.
