Barracks has one of the best locations in Albemarle County. Situated at the northwest corner of the Charlottesville city limits, the community is a short drive, bike ride, or walk from the Barracks Road Shopping Center and University Grounds. The area has plenty of multi-family dwellings, many of which are occupied by University graduate students of the nearby UVA Law and Business Schools. The area also offers small to medium sized homes west of the 250 Bypass. With a central location, Barracks is a great option for those who want to be close to the city.
