Situated halfway between the Downtown Mall and the University Grounds, Fifeville boasts one of the best locations in Charlottesville. The neighborhood consists mostly of large, early 20th century dwellings, but also offers a variety of small to medium sized homes and multi-family dwellings. While the community is mostly residential, Fifeville hosts commercial activity along Cherry Avenue, including many locally-owned businesses. With quick access to the University and the Downtown area, Fifeville is appealing for those looking to be close to the most influential parts of the Charlottesville community.

La Flor Michoacana

A Latino staple since July of 2015 La Flor Michoacana is fast becoming a local favorite in the community. This Mexican-inspired ice cream shop Gives the term “popsicle stand” a whole new meaning, boasting unique and classic flavored handmade popsicles, ice cream, cakes, and other sweets derived from fresh fruits and ingredients.

Forest Hills Park

Forest Hills Park is a popular place for kids to have fun in the sun. The highlight of the park is the water spray ground surrounded by lofty oak trees and a great view of Carter’s Mountain.

Tonsler Park

Tonsler Park is one of the busiest parks in Charlottesville. Its located on Cherry Avenue at 5th Street S.W. Small children, teenagers and families gather to enjoy the recreation center, tennis courts, lighted basketball courts, and extensive playground equipment.
