Fry’s Spring

Fry’s Spring derives its name from the natural springs that are located in the community and their original historic owner, James Francis Fry. Located at the southwest corner of the city, the Fry’s Spring neighborhood provides easy access to the University Grounds and nearby Corner Area. The community is mostly residential, with a variety of housing types and options seen throughout the neighborhood. Due to its proximity to UVA, many homes in the area have been converted to rental properties for local students.
